My poor Baby

I had Baby for atleast 5-6 years. About 4 months ago, I could tell he was not feeling well. I wanted to take him to a vet, unfortunately, there are none near here. I believe he had a tumor. It got large enough to where he couldn't stand on perches anymore and had a lot of problems climbing around the cage. I felt so horrible that I couldn't take him to a vet. One morning I woke up and he had passed on. I was very sad and still am sad. He was such a good bird. He talked a lot until he became ill.

That is sad, God Speed little guy. Who knows since it was a tumor there is a chance they might not of been able to do anythign for him anyhow. God bless ya

They weren't able to do anything with my Stormy and I saw several vets. I got it resolved now though.

I hated to see Baby suffer. I just didn't know what to do. I wouldn't have been able to take him to a vet. The closest is like 50+ miles away and I doubt I could have afforded it.

I couldn't either but having pets we just have to. I understand you didn't mean to put Baby through the pain but the help is there when you need it. It's not that cheap but it's well worth it. After Stormy's situation, I set up an account just for the birds- just in case. I live by myself and it's not easy but I have 9 babies and they are my responsibility. I'd buy them food before I buy mine. I hope it never comes to that but I would.
Anyways, I didn't mean to make you feel bad. Sorry if I did though. RIP little Baby.

I cannot understand why budgies are so fragile. My vet said they're more fragile than canaries..
