Most amazing thing

The most amazing thing happened to me this evening. I was holding my 2 week old baby budgie (his/her name is Nut), and he fell asleep in my hand! They are so ugly, yet cute all at the same time! I never would have thought that I would love a baby budgie so much, almost like when I had my own kids! lol! My husband thinks I'm crazy!

That is so funny! You're right, they are kind of ugly but so cute at the same time when they are that young. I can't help but fall in love with the little guys!! :p

The cute part is when you see them yawning. Their mouth is only so small and watching it open wide is kind of funny because of its size.

I took a closer look at Nut and his/her brother/sister today, and it would appear that all of Nut's feathers are white (except the wings and tail which are black and grey). Meanwhile the other baby (no name yet, my girlfriend is taking him and hasn't named him yet), has yellow feathers coming in on his wings and back. So perhaps Nut will be a white budgie with black wings and tail. That would be totally cool!:D
