my budgie is hyper!

I just got my parakeet a few weeks ago and it has been very active since. I was wondering if it is ok for a parakeet to be so hyper. Hercules :budgie: always flaps its wings while listening to music and squaks when it does so. It also plays around and trys to get itself through the gap of the food container and the perch connected to it. Is this ok? Please help!

He sounds fine! A hyper budgie is better than a still ill one!

Nothing is wrong, like Billy and Lily said, a hyper budgie is better than a still, inactive, ill one! It just means you have a very active and curious little friend. cute name by the way, too. ;)

Yeah you will have so much fun with an active budgie. It might be harder to tame him though if he doesn't pay any attention :p lol.

Sounds a lot like my budgie Aries! I call him the ADD budgie since he doesn't have a very long attention span! :p
