are legos safe? cuz i was thinking it would be a good idea to make an easy play gym.........................................

I have thought of that as well. I would think that as long as the lego is clean and you use the bigger pieces that are not broken in anyway, it would most likely be safe. The lego web site would most likely have material handling safety sheets available that would help you decide.

I think that would be more expensive..lol... Lego here are crazy prices..lol.. No Im j/k would be neat..

I think they would be using safe dyes because babies put them in there mouths when they use them.

oh and i think if you had a bigger bird or a bird that likes chewing(that would be a cockatoo!!!) i think they would be a great idea!

That is a great Idea, I think, I would just not use the really small pieces as they could choke on them but the bigger pieces that would be neat if you do please post a picture of it so we can all see your work. Have fun with it. I have freinds that are engineers and we had a night where everyone was building with legos and they came up with some awsome things. Good luck and Happy building.

I used to play with legos all the time when I was young! I actually had the legos pirate ship series. Incorporating legos in a play gym sounds like a fun and unique idea. If you end up doing it, please show us some pictures of your set up!!
