I fell in love with a budgie today and I'm curious on her colour, but as she will not be joining us for another week or so I don't have a pic.
Being rather excited (and terrible at waiting) I was hoping that with a discription, someone might be able to take a guess at what colour / mutation she is.
I have a post further down the page "what colour are my kids" which shows my bird Puppet, and my new girl is very similar to him (pics of him in that post and also in my siggy) but where he has the faint purple hue on his chest, she has a very faint grey hue. This only shows up in the light, and she also has tiny grey patches on her cheeks.
What has really thrown me is that she has red eyes, and everything I've looked at only mentions pure white with red eyes.
Ok, so I know it's a big ask without a pic, but any idea's?
