does anybody have a guide for making play gyms?

^^^i was looking at marshliah's post and the play gyms are WAY expensive(i know there are cheaper playgyms but its even cheaper to make one your self)

then again i am only 12 so i dont know how to make a playgym

I think my grandpa can help though,its just he has never biult a playgym for a budgie(but he is REALLY good at making things and fixing things)

so i need a guide to show him how to make one

Hello, I dont have any plans at hand, maybe you can google a search, or you can at least get a good picture of one to help guide you. The options would be endless for you dont nesessary have to go by what you have seen, you can use your own ideas too.
you know I thought the same thing not to long ago, I have built many a birds houses and feeders for my yard.

As far as the glue, you can ask a pet store or go into a home building center and ask ,tell them whats its for and they will show you which would be non-toxic and safe. Im sure there is a wood glue out there to get easy with no toxins for these type of crafts, and there are the craft stores as well.
You can also get paints and stains that are safe as well.
These stores should be able to help you.

But like i said you can do a search on your computer right now.. just type in Google..

thanks...i tried google searching "how to make a playgym for my bird"....and i got some good stuff...but i didnt like it

I think if i just show him a picture of one and i tell him to make it with safe "stuff" he will be able to do it......oh yeah and i will probably be helping him,because i have the immagination and he has da skillz
