Charlie loves his toy with the bells inside, and his mirror with the bell on.
Pippin' likes to go on top of his mom and dads' cage and play with this hoop with beads and a bell. He pecks at it from outside the cage. I think it makes him feel powerful to make that big thing swing above his parents' heads!

Mine like the home-made toys I've made of Hemp cord and a large hoop with the strings dangling. They "preen" the strings. too cute.

My keets love to play with Homies. I have a bunch of them and I like to set them up on a platform. The birds grab them and throw them. Their favorite is the tiny little dog Homie. Jolly Roger carries it around like a doll. There's also the snuggle buddy (one of those fluffy things you put in the cage)- the love that thing. And they like the swing with the brightly colored beads and the bell. Jolly Roger is very posessive of his favorite toys. It's so cute. Sapphire's favorite toy is Jolly's tail.

Chrissie fave toy is definatly her big red heart with 2 die at each side, and a bell at the bottom. She loves swinging it about, she gets really carried away with it!

my bird likes the star spinner toy. you can see them on petco.com or something. they are ment to be slid through perches, but i just cut a small dowel, tied each end with some raffia, slid the star thing in the middle and hung it in the cage. jay spends most of 'her' day biting and spinning it. yeah, i gave up on pretending its a him despite the male behavior. haha. not that im against a female budgie, just i had originally thought male haha. o well, guess the next one i get will be male. was gonna get a female but since jay is female, will have to shoot for a male.

I uploaded my keets playing with this new ferris wheel toy. It took me a while to purchase it because I was afraid they wouldn't play with it. But I put a couple of seeds in the trays and now they love it.

Sapphire also momentarily plays with his little frog.

My last budgie, Tweety, didn't like toys too much.. He loved to fly around the room and land on the purches we put over the doorways and pick through peoples hair. My new budgie, Sky, well, we will have to see what his favorite toy is. So far he seems to like the budgie ladder that is in his cage. He will climb on it, and in and out of the spaces between the bars. He likes to squeeze his body through things. lol.

I have a similar ferris wheel that took my budgies quite a while to play with. It wasn't until I put seeds in the little trays that they would go near it. Your video of your two little sweeties is so cute! I love your budgies!!:D

Lol the p stands for pence - dont know about exchange rates but I guess its approx. a few US cents, a small silver coin the size of your thumbnail...great idea for a shiny toy, will wash a few & try them out, my 2 love to throw things.
