View Full Version : Name needed for dog.
I'm getting an 8 month old male sheepdog soon, and I need a name!
I don't have any pics yet, but I will soon.
His currant name is Archie, but I'm not keen on that one!
All the names will go into a poll at the end, to help me decide!
Get posting names!

My old dog was called paddy. I think it's a good name. How about Barney, Oscar, Rocky, Charlie, Harvey, lol! the list goes on!
I'm sticking with Archie.

When are you getting him?? I love sheepdogs!
What kind of sheepdog? Shetland? Old English? I have always liked the name "Pawtrick" for a dog. But that's kind of silly lol.
Lol! He's a black and white border collie.

It can be very confusing for him to change a dog's name. If you really have to, first you have to call him "Archie/????" for a long time and then eventually drop the Archie part. Some dogs never leaern a new name. It's their identity.
We aren't getting him. I thought I already said? Oh well! Lol.
