..I know a few of you have Tiels as well as budgies, I was just wondering if they live together in the same cage..or are they too territorial for that?

Some people manage it, others do not. A lot depends on the birds, but I think the general consensus is to not make them share a cage.

I agree with pal0m1n0, I have both a tiel and budgies and they have there own seperate spaces although it works for some, I wouldn't take the chance the size difference alone scares me that one or the other might get hurt.

No, mine have separate cages. Althought they get along fine when they are out they enjoy having their own space. Also, my younger budgies like Sugar finds tiels intresting a little too much.

I wouldn't house them together. Not even in a large cage or aviary. Tiels tend to be docile, and budgies can boss the tiels around.
