View Full Version : How far should the perches be from the walls of the cage?

This might be one of the weirdest questions ever asked on TB but I know that you guys will be able to help me. I'm trying to figure out the position of some perches that I just made. I would like to position it so that its as close to the side of the cage (parallel to the perch) I want to make sure there is enough room for them so that they're not crashing onto the side of my cage. Thanks!

Just place them far enough to where they can perch without their tails and wings touching the side of the cage. I think that's what you're asking right?
