Housing question.

Once you mate two budgies in a cage about 30X18X34 can you house the babies with the parents even when they're old enough to feed themselves or until they become adults? My other question is, will the brothers and sister try to mate if they are caged together?

Well teh thing taht happened to my pair teh first clutch they had there was 3 babies I kept teh chicks for about 3 weeks after they hatched and teh father was trying to amte with his own children!The mother was attacking them and right when I removed the babies they had eggs again!Than I have them a 7 month break and let them have 2 more cluthes and again a break and so on... I dont know if teh babies tried to breed I sold 2 to teh petstore and kept one but the father budgie tried!:S

Once the babies are independant of their parents they'll need as much space as any other budgie. And yes, siblings will mate if they get the urge. :rolleyes:
