Hi. I'm new here and I'm in the process of trying to figure everything out. I must admit, it's a little overwhelming.
Are the little white wings under the names Karma?
Why are some all facing the same way, and others are not?
I don't understand the Karma system. Help!:S

Me either...and I personally don't think it's really important either. I think* the wings are related to the amount of posts you've made. Moderators and administrators have two that face eachother.

EDIT:
While we're at it, what does the rep power mean? 1,2,3 etc?

PS_ I think this post should be in site disscussions?

These two threads pretty much explain the Karma and rep power. The wings are related to your post count.

yes, wings are for the post count...
as for karma, its seems that since the forum went to the steel 6 version, karma doesnt seem to be used much anymore. Maybe its coincidence, but i just doesnt seem to be as active.

I blieve that if you exceed 3,000 posts, then two white wings face each other in your profile. Not necessarily because you are a member of the staff.

The karma system is still in play, except in the new skin version, the karma system does not show. You can still give and recieve karma though. If you change back to the old skin version (which I have), you can see the karma box and karma points.
