I am a retired - just - lady with 1 budgie, Bluey. You can see him in my avatar. he is a noisy bird, always chirping or screeching but he doesn't talk. He is not very tame and only comes out of his cage on his own. He loves a millet spray.
Since I was little we have had budgies. Before I was married there was Snowey, Billy and Peter. Since I was married there was Billy 2, Bobby, Bonnie and now Bluey.
The best talker was Billy 2. He used to ask for a wee cup of tea!:budgie:
