Ok well about two weeks ago when i took Chipper to the vet for his checkup he suggested i put him on pellets, which is what i planned to do anyway. So he gave me a bag of Harrisons pellets. I thought Chipper would never touch them, but my vet told me to buy a food dish with a mirror so he would think another budgie was eating the food. And to my surprise he started eating it the first day! Well at least thats what i think hes doing, buy everytime i go to give him more its just a bunch of dust. So im not sure if hes actually eating the pellets or just crushing them and making dust out of it? I was just wondering if any other budgies do this?:S

thanks for the replys! this morning i just left the dust in there instead of dumping it out and giving him more and he ended up eating the dust, so now i know for sure hes eating it all!
