Feel free to move this tread if need be, I'm not sure exactly where to put it.

Well I've decided to redo my old bird playgym. The old one was fantastic but took up way too much space in my rather small apartment. I am also moving soon so a smaller gym will be easier to transport. I've decided to chronicle the destruction, design, and construction of my new gym.

First, here are some pics of the construction of the old gym.

That gym was taken apart and the pieces were used to build my newer compact gym.

Design: The numbers are only approximations and were changed throughout the process.

I designed the smaller gym to easier fit on top of something (board, piece of linoleum, newspaper, etc...) and catch falling poo...especially since my new apartment will have lighter colored carpet. When including the Boing in the dimesions it is approximately 14in.x18in.x24(h)

Great job...Thank you for sharing all the details...I love it! I especially like the design of the second one (your re-do). What size is the PVC you used?
