the cage my budgies have been in for a year now is a homemade cage, were thinking of going somwhere to buy a REAL cage that is still big about the same size if not a bit bigger. the cage right now is (LxWxH) 2.5x2.5x3.5 how much would a cage that big readily made cost?

I paid £36 recently for a new cage for my budgie. That would be about $50

At petsmart they should have some for $14.99 for a single budgie only, and $37.99 cage that is big enough for 2 birds. They're not over $100 unless you want something very big to hold about 3-6 budgies any more than that you'll need an aviary. You can also try ebay for a very big cage with a good price tag on it.

The size of cage I got was about 2 feet by 1 and a half feet and 2 and a half feet high. I got it in a local pet shop. We have Pets Mart here and they were more expensive. The size of cage i have could easily hold 2 birds

im looking for a cage that can house about 4-5 budgies, about the size i have right now a 3.5ft high by 2.5ft width. so yes i do want a big cage i want my budgies to get alot of exercise and have plenty of room. i also have plenty of 14inchx12inch cage that i use as traveling cages. is THAT what you mean by a cage big enough for a single budgie?
