This weekend I visited my family and decided to buy a new travel cage for my Slonik. I bought this one from petco http://www.petco.com/product/9601/Avian-Select-Bird-Carrier.aspx
Overall I think it's pretty good for the money except the perch isn't connected securely. So as I was driving it was shaking and the poor guy had to hold on to the wall to stay still. Tonight I'm going to make some polyurethane bushings to stabilize it, I'd suggest that anyone to buys this to glue it down or something. It's all plastic which concerns me a little when it's hot outside, but I leave the A/C on in the car. I figure in the winter it'll hold the heat in better. It also makes it easy to clean since he seems to poop more when he's nervous. I think the cheapo strap it comes with is pretty worthless and I don't really want to carry my pet around like a fashion accessory purse anyways.
