That's sad- I'm sorry about it. Once again it reinforces my beliefs in clipping..I like how you added the budgie in that last pic..

I hope she's ok...

Sorry to hear Pip flew off... keep up putting up flyers and don't give up!
Keep searching. I have heard of successful budgie searches quite a few times.

I don't want my budgies to be clipped, but that's everyone's personal preference.

Good luck!

Sorry about Pipp. I put up posters too.

Amanda told me that you had the cage outside and Pipp was on it or something, then someone went up to pet her and she flew away. If this is true, why would you allow a fully flighted bird to be loose outside? :S

But was she still loose outside? :S

You should never, never have a fully flighted bird outside. You can go outside with them if they're in a cage (make sure they cannot open the doors) or wearing a harness. Even Clipped birds can glide off on a gust of wind. Especially teeny budgies, as they're so light its easier for them to fly off.

 I say leave it alone- it's useless at this point.

I was just saying that so she doesan't take her flighted birds outside. It will be less upsetting then losing another bird due to it flying away.:)

I'm sure Pipp has learned by this, so lets leave it at that.

Haley, your just putting her down by saying this. She already feels terrible, why try and make her feel worse? Just let it be.

I was not trying to put her down or anything. I am not saying anymore on the subject.

Anway,, I'm sorry Pipp flew away and I hope you find her soon. If you don't, I hope she has found a good home with someone else
