I am going to try to breed Tiki and Baby again. I tried breeding them last year, but all 3 eggs were duds. Hopefully they lay eggies soon. They have a nestbox and they are in a seperate cage from Mika and Tootsie. They have been regurigating alot more since they have been alone in the cage. I will keep ya'll updated.

Here is a picture or Baby.

Also, I have gotten a little help from Marsheliah because, she showed me that there was handfeeding formula in Petsmart. I never knew that because I never saw it untill now. I also have handfeeding syringes that I can use for feeding. I was wondering. I want to handfeed one of the babies because I am off for 3 months for summer break, and I have the formula and the syringes, so I was wondering if I should handfeed. Opinions would be greatly appreciated!

Congrats, I am looking forward to seeing the colours. Tiki's colouring is similar to my Charlie's. So I can vicariously see the results. :)

Personally, I would not handfeed unless required. You can achieve the same level of tameness by holding the baby as it grows.

Update
Baby had a swollen vent so I thought she was going to lay an egg soon. Today I looked and her vent wasn't as swollen so I look into the nestbox and egg #1 is there, unless my eyes are playing tricks on me ! hehe :)

Nevermind, it was my mean brother! He put a fake egg in the nestbox so he made me think that it was real =[

But now Baby is swollen in her vent, and her tail is bobbing so hopefully she will lay tonight or tomorrow!

I'm worried that she is eggbound! I know what to do, bu how long do the birds have a swollen vent and their poops are the largest before they lay an egg!?! She has had a swollen vent for about 2 days now!

OK well Eggie #1 is here, bu this is my first and last time breeding! I don't want to increase the population of homeless birds. I am going to a adopt a parrot from a rescue in the near future. baby is already incubating the egg.
