Our "Baby"

Yesterday the most devastating thing that could have happened to us occured... we came home and our precious Baby had passed away. Although we have suspected of late that she was not well (she had, from time to time, blood in her poop) we never expected to loose her so suddenly. We took her to a vet a few months ago and he didn't know what was causing her problem. Dispite all of this, she was for the most part her usual self - singing, flying to us and interacting as usual.

She was such a part of our family - a part of us and made our life so joyful. We got Baby immediately after we were married almost 9 years ago, and already, not even an entire day has passed and we are entirely lost without her and just don't know what to do. She was so amazing to us and an unbelievable companion. It just feels like nothing will ever be the same without her.

Hopefully with time the pain will ease but one thing is certain - she will forever and always hold the most special place in our heart and our memories of her will exist there for eternity.

I'm very sorry to hear about Baby. I can tell she got the love she needed but unfortunatly things happen and nothing lasts forever.Just remember the good times and carry that on. RIP BABY.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of sweet little baby. It is never easy to handle, whether it was expected or not. I have lost three budgies and I miss them all tremendously, so please know that I can relate to what you are feeling. RIP baby. May she fly high with all our little budgies whom we have lost.

We thank you all for your kind words and sincere thoughts in response to our post. It has been a tremendous help to us in getting through this very difficult time.

I am so happy that my husband found this forum because until we lost Baby, we had never visited this site. Now I am certain that we will be on it very frequently.
