We got a friend for chalky on monday, Isn't he/she gorgeous! I was told it was a baby, can anyone tell? Plus what is he/she's colouring-is it violet?

:) nice budgie , definately looks a baby i think its a boy but not 100%. Looks a little like my muffin who i think is a violet/ mauve. Are they in together or is the new one in quarantine ?

Yes chalky is female and yes to the quarantine but i dont think it will last long ;)

no matter what, fight the temptation to put them together. It may be tough, but its in the birds best interest. (especially with the poo problem)

a cute baby, my eyes are bad, lol, i cant see him well enough to see the cere. looks like a cobalt to me, but my monitor at work never shows the right color. i will look when i get home.
