Just came across your site while looking for a playground for the "kids". We've only had our four for a couple of months. Sometimes embarrassed that we are so enamored with them - we're both over 55! But we thoroughly enjoy listening to their "conversations" and crazy antics. Just purchased a flight cage and they seem quite happy to be able to stretch their wings. Curious what the optimum # of budgies would be for a cage that's about 30" wided by 56" high? Our four seem quite tiny in there. Looking forward to hearing from you all - learning about these fascinating creatures and their habits.

:) hi & welcome, age doesnt come into it im 40 & love my 3 budgies.my cage personally is 5ft x 3ft approx & i have 3 only,personally i wouldnt overcrowd it.

Wow! I love your budgie's names! It sounds like they've got an ideal home in that flight cage. I am not sure how many budgies you could reasonably fit into the cage, but I am sure someone else here could enlighten us.
