so cute!
(if you dont mind me voicing my opinion, dont use those sandpaper things on your perch. its not good for their feet, and it really doesnt do anything for their nails. a nail clipper is much better. i know i wouldnt want to stand on sand paper, lol. I do see its just on that perch, but the dont work, just my opinion, lol)

thats the second person thats said that, whats wrong with them? I only put it there cos she always stands on the door and she looked so uncomfy with her feet on the thin metal cage bar. What could i replace it with? :S

when you think about it, their foot wraps around the perch, so the foot is in contact with the sand paper, not the nails. it can end up causing problems with the "sole" of their feet. If i were you, replace it with a plain old dowel stick perch.

Your welcome, petshops will sell just about anything to get our $, lol
you just have to look at the cages they try to sell as a "budgie starter kit" it would hold 1 canary! lol

Even better than dowel is a nice freshly cut branch from a tree! But make sure you wash and dry it thoroughly before sticking it in the cage; otherwise it can give them a bacterial infection etc. They also like gnawing on the wood and it's good to keep their beak from overgrowing :)
But awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww what an ADORABLE little guy. Great picture!
I know I used to work in a petshop and you guys are absolutly right how do you guys know....?People these days think of everything......;)
